I still have that card, and I like to think that sometime in the 1970's, it was someone else's first vintage card as well. At the age of 12, having a card as old as my mother made it seem ancient.jacobmrleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13991748868368917576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4525636942493401977.post-54934276576045685952010-06-12T19:29:54.004-04:002010-06-12T19:29:54.004-04:00Someone gave me about a dozen or so baseball cards...Someone gave me about a dozen or so baseball cards from the 1950s and 1960s, but the only two I remember were Metts manager Casey Stengel and Milt Pappas, but pictured with some other team and not the Cubs. The Pappas was even autographed. I sold them in the early 1990s when I was a vendor at card shows.

As for hockey...I bought some 1971-72 Topps Hockey in 1990. Think I paid $20 for 30 cards. One or two good ones, mostly commons. Is that "vintage" enough, or do you mean like from the 1950s?Salhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16062573971073651593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4525636942493401977.post-72874256668250132652010-06-11T17:37:40.693-04:002010-06-11T17:37:40.693-04:001954 Topps Dick Groat. Those things were oversized and I had nothing to put it in that would fit so I remember taking the dreaded scissors to it and trimming it down so it would fit in an album page.

I still have it.TheRealDFGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12124717470072185198noreply@blogger.com
