David Krejci Collection - Card 16

Since my last David Krejci post the Bruins have been playing much better as a team, and Krejci has been pretty solid as well. Unfortunately the results have been the same and the B's lost to the Sabres on Friday night, the Kings on Saturday, and the Washington Capitals tonight.

Krejci scored the Bruins lone goal tonight in 5 on 3 action in the first period, and at the first intermission it looked like the Bruins were poised to give Washington a good game. Late game defensive breakdowns led to 2 third period goals for the Caps though, and the Bruins lost the game 4 - 1.

Next up the Montreal Canadiens visit the Garden on Thursday night. The Habs are 3 points ahead of the Bruins and currently sitting at 7th place in a tight Eastern Conference, but the Bruins do have 3 games in hand on Montreal. Maybe a rowdy game with their historic rival is exactly what Boston needs to get rolling...

  1. I stopped watching after the 2nd period because I had a strong feeling 1-1 was about as good as it was going to get going into the 3rd.

They are so maddening to watch right now.

  2. You're a smarter man than I am I guess. I have trouble turning it off but I should know better!
