I was really excited to read today that Ducks winger Teemu Selanne will return for one more season of NHL play! Selanne is one of the last remaining greats from my childhood days as a hockey fan. Last season, at age 40, he clearly showed that he still has what it takes to be a top-notch scorer with a 31 goal, 80 point effort, good for 8th in the league. There was some question as to whether off-season knee surgery would put an end to Teemu's career, but he feels as though he's good to go, and the Ducks have inked him to a $4 Million deal for the 2011-12 season.
Here's wishing Selanne a successful year (except when he plays the Bruins). I know I'll be looking forward to watching Selanne and Jaromir Jagr highlights on the NHL Network every morning!

Today has been one helluva emotional roller coaster. Woke up excited to
kick off my holiday break with a trip to the Branham High School Flea Market.

Selanne always finds his way on my EA Sports NHL fantasy team.
was hoping to see him sign with Winnipeg!
Love that Young Guns card. I remember getting it in my first pack of 92-93 upper deck years ago
