The weekend seemed to get the better of me in terms of having any time for cards or blogging. I'm not complaining as it was all fun stuff, having spent Saturday in Boston at a museum and then dinner with my wife, then enjoying a full slate of NFL football on a beautiful fall day yesterday.
As a result though, the Signature Sundays autograph that I had planned to post yesterday is a day late...
I've picked up a few of these Archives Signature Series autographs recently, including a pair of '90 Topps and a Topps Kids card. Kent Tekulve's '88 release here is my latest one. Tekulve signed what seems like about a hundred thousand different cards for this release, but I was drawn to this one because it's from his (largely forgettable) stint with the Phillies on the back nine of his career.
At around the price of a fast food value meal, this hard-signed card of the submarine-style hurler was simply too tempting to pass up. The foil is a bit tough to see in the scan due to the thick one-touch holder the card is entombed in, but this particular card is serial numbered to /61 copies.
Nothing too earth-shattering here, but an interesting card nonetheless...

It is my duty to comment on every post that mentions Kent Tekulve, because...TEKE!
