Why?: For a fan of shiny cards like myself, these Prizm Cracked Ice cards are just awesome. They're basically Panini's answer to the Atomic Refractors from Topps, and look infinitely cooler than the standard Prizm cards. I was beyond pleased to scoop this one up for a very reasonable $3 even from my favorite Sportlots seller. 44 years old, turned in a 66-point season, and is a major part of his team's playoff hopes this year. What more can I say?

As someone who abandoned the NHL 10+ years ago, I'd become accustomed to the idea that I no longer knew most of the players in the league... So I was astonished and delighted a couple of years ago to find out that Jagr was still lacing 'em up.
As someone who abandoned the NHL 20+ years ago, I feel the same way as Mr. Shlabotnik does. :-)
Jagr is the Rolling Stones of hockey, he's just going to keep on playing until he dies right there on the rink.
Very nice! There are a few rookies out there in the cracked ice form I have always coveted but haven't obtained yet. This post just adds to the intrigue of them..After all I like shiny things too!
