Harry Simpson is the latest addition to my small grouping of 1952 Topps cards, which has quietly grown to over two dozen now. I was pumped to scoop this up during a sale by a particular seller on COMC towards the end of July. Love the bright, blue sky background. Harry Simpson may not have been an MVP, but he sure got some nice looking baseball cards!
A nice reference to the Pacific Coast League on the card back.
A couple light scratches that you can see across Harry's face, and that soft lower left corner kept this affordable. Exactly how I like my cards from this iconic set, beat up enough to be affordable but still visually appealing. I'll take it!

There's something about the use of blue skies and white clouds in the background of early 50's baseball cards that make me instantly fall in love with them. Beautiful card.
