Here's another quick pack of 1995 Upper Deck Series 1 baseball, from a cheap retail box purchased a while back. 12 cards total, including the promised one-per-pack Electric Diamond parallel...
Starting off solid with recent HOF inductee Randy Johnson serving as the pack's parallel. Randy is a guy who I don't actively collect but always love pulling a new card of. To me he had to have been one of the more intimidating pitchers to step into the batter's box against.
You're not seeing double, I pulled two Glenn Williams cards in a row. This is actually sort of a common occurrence in the packs I've opened from this box so far.
A nice horizontal Montreal Expos card. Looks like it's going to be a close pick-off play at first here...

Easily one of the least flattering facial expressions on the checklist.
Back-to-back Pirates, back-to-back cards showing the ball in mid-air.
A solid rookie to close out the pack. While this was nowhere near the most exciting pack this box has to offer, all the cards were new to me (other than the double I got within the pack). Since I'm planning to collate a set, that's about the best I can ask for...

Pretty good pack. I don't believe I ever ripped a pack of '95 UD baseball, but I was all about UD football in 1995. The design and photography is just as good.
Thanks Mark. Actually, my one-per-box Electric Diamond Gold parallel turned out to be a Met! Should be headed your way in a future PWE...
Looking at old Upper Deck cards makes me remember just how much I miss their photography and the company in general.
Pretty damn nice looking cards. Ditto Colbey.
