What: 1955 Bowman #82 - Lee Walls
Where: COMC
How Much?: $.67
Why?: Yes, there's a small crease in the upper right corner, but it doesn't detract much from the excellent visual appeal of this vintage piece of cardboard. Besides, for whatever reason 1955 Bowman is one of those vintage sets that's borderline criminally under-represented within my collection (this is just my second card from the set). Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, it was only 67 cents.
I love the back, where Lee describes his biggest thrill in baseball to date, hitting a triple off of Robin Roberts as a 17-year-old. Great stuff.

In 1955 the only color TV most American families would see would have been on a Bowman baseball card.
Great deal!
