Why Not? - I didn't have any purple ink autographs before, so why not add this inexpensive one I saw while looking through '21 Luminance cards? He doesn't appear ...

David Krejci Collection - Card 24
Just a quick thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday's post, it's good to know I'm not the only collector who feels a little overwhelmed. While I start to weed through what I want to purge I'm going to continue posting what I am enjoying, at least sporadically for now.
Monday night the Bruins ousted the Buffalo Sabres from the Stanley Cup playoffs and advanced to the second round. David Krejci had probably his best game of the very exciting series, notching two goals and an assist, his first 2-goal playoff performance of his young career. The playoffs have been nothing short of amazing so far, and this series was no exception. With all the screaming at my television over the last couple of weeks, I'm pretty sure everyone in my neighborhood knows I'm a hockey fan at this point. Even better news came for Bruins fans yesterday, as it was announced that Marc Savard will return from his concussion to play center for the B's in the next round.
I couldn't keep up with my goal of posting a Krejci card for every goal or assist in the series (3 goals, 2 assists total), so in lieu of that here's the best Krejci card I haven't featured yet. This one comes from the 2007-08 Upper Deck Ultimate set and is from the Signed Ultimate Debut Threads insert set. Rookie card? Check. Auto? Check. Serial numbered? To just 10. Multi-colored patch? Check. Once again this is the type of card I would normally never pursue, but I'll pick up any Krejci card out there.
I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I am going to be rooting hard for the Montreal Canadiens to beat the Washington Capitals tonight. OK, on that note I need to go, I feel nauseous!
